 Rare Decoupage Pictures
French papier decoupe pictures set. Black paper silhouettes hand cut to ladyıs shapes with fine silk detailing and each signed by the artists, although some indistinctly. The set consists of 5 pictures mounted in original black ovular wood frames which measure 13 inches by 10.5 inches. Condition is good with some ageing to the colour of the paper and some scuffs to the frames.

Margaret Bradley Magazine Print
This, and the following 2 pics are all the work of Margaret Bradley, who was credited with pictures for publications and books during the art deco period, especially during the 1920s. Some are original watercolours, some are prints from magazines and books. I obtained a folder with the entire collection, and I have framed them in contemporary frames. This one is a beautifully painted watercolour by Bradley, and framed in a contemporary frame.

Theatrical Painting - Look Behind You
Another original 1920's water colour and gouache painting. On the back of the card it is painted on, it says it was produced by Lido Press, Strand, London. I have several of these original paintings and they appear to be all original theatrical and poster paintings from the same company and probably by the same artist but none are signed. This one is titled Look Behind You, and the lady is obviously a female Robinson Crusoe with her Parrot and gun, probably produced for a pantomine. It was displayed about 6 years ago at the Fortnum and Masons Art Deco Exhibition. It has been recently framed in a black wood frame that measures approx. 30 inches by 18 inches (76cm x 46). In excellent condition and an amazing find, beautifully hand painted.

In excellent condition and an amazing find, beautifully painted.
