Elephant Bookends
English ceramic Elephant bookends, no makers name but possibly Sylvac or Woods. Each measures approximately 8 inches high (20cm). Marked under the base England and signed with an N. Condition is good with vintage crackle glazing and one has an old glaze fissure to the top of the point on his hat, probably there from new.

Deer and Palm Tree Bookends
French spelter bookends, unsigned but probably by Tedd. The deer and palm tree are mounted on black marble base. Each measures 5.5 inches by 3.25 by 6 (14cm x 8 x 15). Condition is very good.

Ibex Bookends
French green patinated spelter deer bookends. Artist unknown but possibly Rochard. Each measures 9.5 inches total height and the black marble bases measure 5.5 inches by 3.5 (24cm x 14 x 9). Condition is very good with just two chips to the edges of one base.

Terrier Bookends
French spelter dog bookends probably modelled by Moreau as Ric and Rac a 1920's French cartoon by Pol Rob. Each are mounted on a black and white marble base measuring 6.25 inches long. The dogs have a gold cold enamel finish and phenolic eyes. Condition is good with no damage but with some expected wear to the patina in places. 5 inches high.

Wooden Horse Bookends by Dankarner
Stylised carved wooden bookends, signed Dankarner to the base. Each measures approximately 6 inches long (15cm). Condition is very good.

Nut Bird Bookends
Whacky wooden bookends with nut birds perched on them. The birds have phenolic beaks and eyes. Each measures approx. 5 inches high (13cm). Condition is vintage but good.

Stylised Scotty Dog Bookends
Fabulous French carved wooden Scotty dog bookends, unsigned but probably Dankarner. Each measures 4.25 inches long by 2.75 deep by 5 high (11cm x 7 x 13). In excellent condition.

Whacky Owl bookends
Pair of wooden bird bookends with phenolic beak, feet and glass eyes. Marked British Made under the base. 5 inches high. Good condition.

Bookends by Gregoire
Salt glaze ceramic bookends of bears or some mythical beast. Cubist in form. Unsigned but I have had the bronze version of these animals and they were signed Gregoire. Some slight damage to one with a crack across one of the paws and possibly some old glue around the foot. Some firing cracks to the base from new. 7.5 inches (19cm) high.

Nut Bird Bookends
Pair of wooden bookends mounted with nut birds. Phenolic feet, beaks and eyes. 4.5 inches high, 5 inches long. Unfortunately the beak on one bird has been broken and glued, otherwise good vintage condition.
