Polar Bear Bookends
Modernist chromed bronze 2 dimensional polar bear bookends, mounted on black wooden bases. Each measures 6 inches long by 3.5 deep by 6 high (15cm x 9 x 15). In very good condition.

Nymph Bookends by Sarsaparilla
American aluminium Nymph and frog bookends. These are remakes of the original Frankart items of the 1920's, these ones made around 1980. Marked Frankart by Sarsaparilla. Each measures approximately 9.5 inches (24cm) tall.

Lovely French fish bookends with vase back sections, signed Lusca, France under the base, they each measure 6.5 inches by 3.5 inches and 7 inches high (16.5 x 9 x 18cm). Condition is very good.

Cubist Bookends by Rivet
French white terracotta cubist lady reading a book, bookends. Signed L. Rivet to the base. Each has a gold patina and silver highlighting to the hair and measures 13.25 inches (33cm) long. Condition is vintage but good.

Compton Pottery Bookends
A pair of heavy white earthenware bookends from the Arts and Crafts period, unmarked but apparently by Compton Potteries. Male archers with green, yellow and brown tones measuring approximately 7.25 inches high and 7 inches wide. Very good original condition with just the usual ageing to the patina.

A pair of spelter bookends modelled as fawns mounted on marble bases. Signed to the metal socle MIC (unknown to me) but made by the Le Verrier foundry. Very good vintage condition. They each measure approx. 7.75 inches high (20cm) and 4.5 inches wide (11cm).

French green patinated art metal bookends by Max Le Verrier. Each is signed and mounted on black metal bases that measure approx. 5.25 inches by 2.5 inches deep (13cm x 6.5cm). The total height is approx. 7 inches (18cm). Condition is very good with a few minor age related marks.
