Bronze Bust by Oulene
This lovely large male bust is hernia heavy! He seems to be a very determined man, carrying a flag over his shoulder. It is signed on the figure and stamped 'bronze' and has a typical greeny bronze patina. He is mounted on a 22 inch Belgian Marble base, and stands 14 inches high. Wonderful jaw-jutting stuff.

Signed Bronze Mirror Dancer
A lovely French bronze lady, approximately 19 inches high. She has a gold patination and is holding a mirror in her right hand and is wearing a bra top with a scarf tied around her waist, and a tricon hat. The base is of verdigre marble and she is signed by the artist Fournier. This same figure can be viewed in the Bryan Catley book, volume two, page 151.Ê

 Bronze Nude by Gori
A lovely nude with a golden patina standing nearly 17 inches high on a bronze platform on a 5 inch square stepped base of black marble and green onyx. This lovely bronze figure has lovely facial detail and deco stylised hair with red enamelled flower detail. The condition is excellent with the usual minor chips to the edges of the base. This figure is signed on the base - Gori.

Patinated bronze lady with red highlights to her skirt and mounted on a curved Brazilian Onyx base, and signed to the socle base. Total height is 8.5 inches (22cm) and in good condition with some expected ageing to the patina.

An Austrian silvered bronze figural nude sitting on a large stylised fish, mounted on a circular Brazilian green onyx base. Signed in the bronze A. Pohl and measuring approx. 12.25 inches (31cm) high.

Nymph and Faun by Marcel Bouraine
A delightful silvered and patinated Art Deco bronze group of a young nymph and faun. Signed Bouraine and inscribed with the Etling Paris foundry mark, circa 1925. A very fine sculpture that is in excellent condition with very little wear to the colour but no restoration or repair. Resting on a portorro marble base, it measures 12 inches high by 22 inches wide (30 x 56cm).
Marcel Bouraine - French, 1886 to 1948, Born in Pontoise. In the main he was self-taught. All his works are of sincere realism and drawn from life. Taken prisoner by the Germans during the 1914 - 1918 war, he so interested his captors that they gave him many works to execute. He was interned in Switzerland where he produced many monuments, of which one was for Lousanne. He exhibited at all the main Paris Salons during the 1920's and 1930's.
