Large Josephine Baker by Hagenuer
This very stylish bronze lady dancer is signed Hagenuer underneath the base. She measures a large 10.5 inches high and the wooden base is 3 inches in diameter. She wears an ankle and wrist bangle and little else and is probably modelled on Josephine Baker. (I also have a life size bronze dancer of Josephine Baker in Hagenuer style which is the most stunning sculpture you have ever seen. If you wish to see pics email and ask me to send pics of F2129).

Bronze Lady and Deer by Danvin
A small signed Danvin bronze figural group, mounted on a brown marble base which measures 9.5 inches long and 4 inches deep. The lady sits 5.5 inches high and it is signed on the back of the deer. It has a silver and gold patina with some minor expected Age wear - a lovely little bronze at an affordable price.

'The Dance' by Davergne
Another of my stunning huge bronze figural groups by Davergne, this one measuring 35 inches long by 6.5 deep and 23 inches high (89x17x59cm). The lady has a silvered patina with bronzed dress and the deer are dark bronze. The base is of Portorro Extra marble and is signed and stamped bronze. Girl & Peacock Bronze by Godard
A stunning French bronze - the famous Godard Peacock Lady. This is the large version measuring 23 inches long (59cm), and can be viewed in the Catley book on page 157, but in the smaller version. The beautifully silvered bronze nude sits 12.5 inches high (32cm) on a shaped brown onyx base and signed on the right hand end of the onyx. The peacock has a silvered plume and breast feathers and the body, head and tail feathers are guilded. Condition is immaculate.

Ballet Dancer by Lorenzl
A 10 inch (25cm) bronze dancer wearing a short tunic and ballet shoes, signed Lorenzl to the bronze socle and mounted on a circular onyx dish base with a 5.5 inch (14cm) diameter. Condition is very good but she does have a slight variation of patina colour to her left arm, so may have had some restoration at some time, although no repair is visible.

Lorenzl Scarf Dancer
Pretty nude bronze dancer 8 inches (20cm) high and mounted on a green onyx base. Signed to the metal socle Lorenzl and in very good condition with some minor age wear to the patina.

Lorenzl Scarf Dancer
This small bronze-patinated spelter nude dancer is an unsigned Lorenzl and measures approx. 7.5 inches (19cm) tall and is mounted on an alabaster ashtray dish base measuring 6 inches (15cm) in diameter. The figure is in very good condition but the base has a fine hairline surface crack about 3 inches across, although still very solid and stable.
