'Femme Nue Assise' by Riviere
Huge silvered bronze nude crouching and holding a basket of fruit. Mounted on a purple and green marble plynth. Total height is 17 inches (43cm). Base measures 14 x 8 inches and 2 inches high. Signed Giraud Riviere to the base and impressed bronze to her foot. Condition is very good with some minor wear and ageing to the patina.

Bronze Lady Lamp by St. Schwartz
Superb quality Austrian bronze lady playing a guitar sitting below a lamp post with floral detail growing up the post, which incorporates the lamp. The shade swivels around which allows a better view of the bronze lady. The base is of buff coloured onyx and the piece is signed to the bronze socle. I have had this figure previously, but only as a figure and never a lamp. The lampshade with this piece is the original and will probably need replacing, but to the purchasers taste. Height 25 inches (64cm), and base measures 11 x 8.5 inches (28 x 22cm). A wonderful, top quality bronze lamp - very usable and in wonderful original condition.

Bronze Group by Villeneuve
Large bronze of Panette and goat by Jacques Villeneuve, made in the 1920s and measuring a large 25 inches long by 8 inches deep and 12.5 inches high (64x20x32cm). Signed in the bronze and bears the Barbediene foundry mark. The lady is playing pan pipes while the goat dances, which typifies the genre subjects by this artist, (see my information on artists page). The base is of speckled marble. Condition is very good with a few minor patina wear marks which are commensurate with age.

The Water Carrier by Pierre Le Faguays
French bronze Egyptian themed Water Carrier lamp - a signed piece by Pierre Le Faguays, signed to marble base. I believe produced by the Etling Foundry, Paris. The base is made of verdigris marble and measures 4.5 inches by 4 inches (11.5cm x 10cm) and total height is 15.5 inches (40cm). Condition is very good, however the rim to the back of her urn is missing some of its thread. It still screws shut but not completely. The bulb sits inside the urn.
