Advertising Mirror
Wow - this little handbag mirror represents an era. I assume it was a
free gift given out to young buyers by either a firm of estate agents or a
building firm. It reads 'Bravingtons Ltd. Every woman sees a home through
her engagement ring.' and has a Kings Cross address in London. Yes I know its
tacky! but it certainly represents an era wouldn't you say! A very rare piece
in wonderful condition which looks like a thin bronze.

 Handbag Compact
Large multi combo compact which measures approx 5 inches by 4 inches and is made of a pale yellow enamel with gold tone detail. It is marked Park Lane de Luxe, LSM. THe top section is missing its mirror but has a fold up celluloid comb, blusher section (Still intact and unused)powder section and lipstick section.To the back is another section with note pad and original pen, money and cigarette section. Celluloid Vanity Bag
Lovely peach pearlised celluloid compact bag made in the late 1930s - early 1940s. To one end is a rose patterned metal panel where one would have put lipstick. Inside there are also 2 compartments and a mirror to the lid. Condition is very good but with no makers marks but probably American. Measures 6.5 x 3.5 inches (16x9cm).

Celluloid Vanity Bag
Lovely peach pearlised celluloid compact bag made in the late 1930s - early 1940's with crenellated metal edges. Inside there are also 2 lidded compact sections - one with mesh, and a mirror to the lid. Condition is very good but with no makers marks but probably American. Measures 5 x 3.25 inches (13x9cm).

Lovely green and cream enamel oval powder compact by Gwenda. It measures approx. 3.25 by 2.25 inches (8cm x 5.5cm). Condition is very good and it may not have been used.
