Sailor Girl by Dux
Cute female sailor, designed by Lorenzl for Royal Dux. She measures 7 inches tall (18cms) and bears the Dux triangle and the made in Czechoslovakia stamp under the base. Condition is very good.

Rare Vase by Barol
An extremely sought after French vase by the famous ceramist Jean Barol (1873-1966). Barol once worked for the Massier brothers whos company was famous for its metallic lustre glazes as can be seen on this vase. Barol left the company and set up his own company using the specialist skills that he learned while at Massier. See my info on artists page for some more info. This wonderful ball vase has two crackle glaze nude lady and sunray medalions around the top, while the rest of the body has the most amazing metallic lustre in blues and reds. It is hand signed to the side J. Barol. It measures approx 8.5 inches high (21.5cm). Condition is very good.
