Spelter Figures page 11

Huge Woman & Child Group
This lady is sitting on a 27 inch mixed marble & onyx walled base, with her arms outstretched to a child running with a bunch of flowers. Made of French spelter with a silvered patina and black and gold clothing detail. The lady is sitting 17 inches high.

Ref: F269 . . . £785

'Parrot Lady'
A French, spelter lady and parrot with a green patina, set on a speckled grey marble base 22 inches long, and the lady is 14 inches tall. There is some mystery to this figure as I have had this figure before and it was a 'Chiparus', but this one is signed 'Alonzo'. She wears a typical 'Chiparus' style beaded hat and shoes. There is also some speculation that it may be bronze, but I don't think so.

A French, silvered spelter Lady & 2 deer modelled as Dianne the Huntress. A very large piece, on a 33 inch sienna marble base standing approx 21 inches high. A lovely classical group!

Rare Austrian Male Striker
A lovely 8.5 inch spelter striker in the style of an Austrian youth in Lederhosen. He is unsigned but looks like the work of J. Lorenzl and a very rare piece. He comes complete with walking stick striker wand which he carries in his backpocket. Condition is very good with a couple of scratch marks where the striker has struck the base.
