Small Female Spelter Figures 1

Smaller spelter female figures, up to about 20 inches tall.

Spelter Ladies attributed to Lorenzl
L171 - Lorenzl Lamp - Sold

F2008 - This is the same lady as the lamp and is also an unsigned Lorenzl, but this time as a striker (cigarette lighter). Unfortunately she is missing her striker wand, but she is of silvered spelter with similar peach coloured detail and is also 11 inches tall. The base is again Portorro Extra and is approximately 6.5 inches wide. Condition is good.

A Trio of Spelter Ladies
Spelter ladies - unsigned but probably British. Two are lamps and the other is a figure holding a mirror and she measures 18.5 inches high. All are in good condition and mounted on top hat shaped onyx bases.

Amazone aux Javelot by Fayral
Green patinated Art Metal Diane statue made in the 1930's by the Le Verrier Foundry in Paris. This is the smaller model (I also have the larger version. She measures a total height of 12 inches (31cm), including the metal stepped base which is signed Fayral to one end. Fayral was a pseudonym used by Pierre Le Faguays. Condition is very good with just a few minor patina chips as one would expect.

A Pair of Little Ladies
These little ones are American and they are approximately 7 inches tall and mounted on onyx top-hat bases. The patination is enamelled gold and they are in good original condition.

Martine by Briand
Made of art metal by the Le Verrier foundry, Paris, this green patinated figure is signed Briand, (Marcel Bouraine) and was made in the 1930's. Condition is very good. Height 11.5 inches (30cm).

Polo Player Striker
Austrian spelter polo player, his stick is the striker wand. A striker was an early cigarette lighter. A rare and unsigned piece but possibly designed by Lorenzl. Total height is 8.5 inches and 5.5 inches wide (21 x 14cm). Condition is good with some ageing and minor chips to the patina.

Theatrical Dancer
French spelter dancer in a Ballet Russes costume, mounted on a stepped alabaster base and measuring a total of 14 inches (36cm) high. Excellent original condition.

Scarf Dancer Striker - Lorenzl
This pretty gold cold painted enamel spelter scarf dancer is a striker (cigarette lighter) and although unsigned - attributed to Lorenzl. She stands 10.5 inches high and the marble base measures 6 inches by 3.5 inches. Condition is good but she is missing her striker wand.
