Small Female Spelter Figures 13

Spelter Dancer
Beautiful French spelter dancer in halter back dress and standing on a portorro marble base which measures 4.5 x 4 inches (11 x 10cm). Total height is 13 inches (33cm). She is unsigned but by Lorenzl, although this piece is never signed. Condition is good but there has been a crack repair to the back of the base and a possible restoration to her little finger, hence £495

Esmeralda by Le Faguays
French art metal piece, made by the Le Verrier foundry during the 1930's. Signed to the base Guerbe a pseudonym used by Pierre le Faguays. It measures approximately 10 inches (26cm) total height. Condition is very good with some minor expected age wear to the patina.

Danseuse Au Tambourin by Fayral
French Le Verrier art metal statue by Pierre Le Faguays (signed Fayral - his pseudonym). Her proper title as above, she is a cymbal dancer in Grecian dress produced by the Le Verrier foundry in the early 1930's. Mounted on a verdigris base and measuring a total height of approximately 11 inches (28cm) and signed Fayral to the metal base socle. Condition is very good.

Spelter group by Balleste
A small French spelter lady and deer by Molins-Balleste and measuring approximately 10 inches (25cm) long and 7 inches (18cm) high and mounted on a beige marble base. In good condition with some minor ageing to the patina.

Spelter Flamenco Dancer by Lorenzl
An unsigned spelter flamenco dancer measuring 10.5 inches high (27cm) with its original crisp gold and red patina. She is mounted on a 3.5 inch diameter alabaster base and is in very good condition with no apparent damage or repairs. I believe that this figure may be by Lorenzl as I have seen this figure before, signed.

Surprise by Le Faguays
1930's Le Verrier art metal trinket dish, its title is surprise. To the base is a pond with lilies in and to the edge sits a frog. It measures approximately 7 inches high (18cm) and is signed to the base Guerbe a pseudonym used by Pierre Le Faguays. Condition is very good.

Pandora Candle Holder
French spelter Pandora sitting with her box of jewellery, mounted on an alabaster base. Behind the lady is a guilt candle holder. The base measures approximately 9 inches by 4 and the lady sits a total height of 6 inches (23cm x 10 x 15). Condition is good but there is some age cracking to the surface of the base.

Dancer by Lorenzl
This pretty little spelter dancer is an unsigned Lorenzl. She has a bronze patina and still retains some red enamelling to her shoes and the hem of her skirt. She is mounted on an alabaster base and measures a total height of 8 inches (20cm). Condition is very good.

'Griserie' by Le Faguays
This green patinated lady was made by the Le Verrier foundry in the early 1930's, her title is Griserie and she was designed by Pierre Le Faguays and is usually signed in his pseudonym Guerbe, although this one is unsigned. She measures approx. 11.5 inches (29cm) high. Condition is very good.
