Lovely spelter nude dancing with grapes made by the Le Verrier foundry in the 1920's-1930's, and designed by Denis - famous for his scarf dancer and Danseuse au Boules figures. She measures 12.5 inches (32cm) high, including the alabaster base. Signed in the metal base. Condition is good but with some patina wear.
This item was recently hired to the BBC for a programme on Art Deco architecture, filmed at Claridge's.

'Danse Paienne' by Derenne
A 1930's Le Verrier foundry, art metal statue signed Derenne (a pseudonym used by Marcel Bouraine). She has a dark green patina and is mounted on a portorro marble base. Condition is extremely good although there appears to be a tiny hole/dimple at the top of her right arm, possibly where the original fixing pin went.

Statue by Lorenzl
A cold painted spelter figure of a lady on a pedestal measuring 8 inches (20cm) high including the alabaster base. This is an unsigned Lorenzl. Condition is good but maybe missing the tip of her thumb, possibly from new, but looks like it is tucked under.

An unusual gilt patented art metal figure of a female book reader mounted on a portorro marble base. This one very unusual as she has a cushion to the back and also bearing a foundry medallion stamp from the Le Verrier foundry neither which I have seen before. She measures 8.5 inches (22cm) high, 5 inches wide (12.5cm) and 3 inches (7.5cm) deep. Condition is good with some minor wear to the patina due to age. Possibly a very early example circa 1920s.
