Spelter Male Figures 5
French, green patinated metal male archer with ivoreen bow, mounted on a Belgian Black marble base which measures 22 inches long and 4 inches deep and with a total height of 18.5 inches to the top of the bow (56 x 10 x 47cm). Unsigned but possibly by Joe De Roncourt. Condition is very good with just a couple of minor marble nicks to the edges of the base, mainly at the back.

Uriano - The Hunter
A nice original green patinated spelter man on grey marble with Belgian black marble surround, in very good condition with hardly any marble chips and just some slight patina wear to the figure. Measures nearly 30 inches wide and 15 inches high and 8 inches deep. This one unsigned, but by Uriano.
Ref: F2364 . . . £760
Pierrotte by Lorenzl
Austrian spelter mandolin player, an unsigned Lorenzl. He measures approximately 9.5 inches high (24cm). Condition is fair but there are some rough areas around his neck which would imply some restoration. I also have another perfect one of this statue but it is more expensive.
Ref: F1176 . . . £245
Austrian spelter knight on horseback as a striker lighter, with separate cigarette holder in the form of a tree trunk. The base is of wood and is stamped underneath Austria. I believe this is another striker designed by Josef Lorenzl and is possibly Joan of Arc. In excellent condition and with its original striker wand.
Ref: F1157 . . . £175
A large French spelter male figure mounted on a base of Portorro marble, 25.5 inches (64cm) long by 8 inches (20cm) deep and the figure is about 14 inches (36cm) tall.
There is a connection between Cipriani and J. De Roncourt because although this one is unsigned I have had this piece by both artists. Produced in 1935. Very good overall condition with just some usual minor edge nibbles to the marble and a small indentation to his thigh.
Ref: F1710 . . . £795
Huge Male Archer by Le Verrier
This is the large version of this Le Verrier archer. He has a green patina and is holding a bronze bow and measures 30.5 inches to the tip of the bow (77cm). The base is made of stone and measures 22.5 inches long by 6.5 inches deep (57cm x 16.5cm) and it is signed to the back - Le Verrier. Other than a couple of small age related marks the condition is very good.
Ref: F1717 . . . £2,295
Trophee by Pierre Le Faguays
This three male athlete group was made in the mid 1920's. The top man was also made as a statue on his own called Gloire. This group apparently representing Peace and Victory. Signed in the marble base, Le Faguays. Measures approx. 25 inches high (64cm). Condition is very good but with some age related patina loss to the metal and a couple of base chips to the marble.
Ref: F1834 . . . £2,795
Large Bronze Age Male by Demetre Chiparus
Art deco spelter bending bar man known as Bronze Age. This statue was made in 3 sizes and this is the largest size, measuring 30 inches long to the portorro marble base by 6.75 inches deep and the total height of the figurine is 21 inches (76cm x 16.5cm x 53cm). It is signed to the end of the base D H Chiparus. Condition is excellent, ask me for some pics quoting the ref number.
