Wooden Panther by Hagenauer
Stylised carved wooden panther on a chrome base that measures 13.5 inches long (34cm) by 2 (5cm) by 4 inches high (10cm). The underside of the base is marked Franz Hagenauer Wien. Condition is good but there is a small crack mark to the top of one leg and some wear to the black patina.

Huge Terracotta Dancer by Marcell Guillard
Crackle glazed terracotta theatrical dancer. Made in France and beautifully hand painted in pastel colours. Stamped under the base - Editions Etling Paris and Marcell Guillard. Guillard, Marcell born 1896 - Guillard produced work for the Salon of Independence. He also formed a workshop with Andre Fau in Boulogne-on-Seine, France during the 1920's. At this time many top artistes worked for Guillard and Fau and Therse including Wuilleumier, Leyritz, Guiraud-Riviere, Martel, Tribout, Goupy and Godard. When the company folded in 1926 Guillard continued with the financial help of the Etling company. Etling being famous in their own rights as a foundry producing bronzes, terracottas, glass and ceramic ink pots, bookends, night lights and perfume burners. Many top prolific sculptural artists already worked in conjunction with with the Etling studio, such as Becquerel, Granger, Guiraud-Riviere, Bouraine, Colinet, Le Faguays, Lucille Sevin and Demetre Chiparus to name a few. The items produced after 1926 often bear the Etling and the Guillard foundry stamps and are sometimes also signed by the artist. These pieces are highly sought after worldwide and command high prices from collectors due to the quality and rarity of the items. This very rare piece measures a huge 17 inches long by 5 deep by 17 high (43cm x 12.5 x 43.5). Condition is vintage but excellent.

Lounging Lady - Hagenauer
Limed beech carved lady lounging on a curved metal bed and mounted on a bronze panel base. It measures 18 inches by 4 by 11.5 high (46cm x 10 x 29). Marked under the base Hagenauer and hand made. Condition is good with some patina loss to the base of the chair scroll.

An original plaster prototype mould for the large 'Meditation' statue by Fayral, purchased directly from the Le Verrier family and is one of only 3 made. A wonderful piece of history.

Grecian Urn Lady by Berlincioni
A wonderful, classical Grecian alabaster lady water carrier. She measures 24 inches tall and is mounted on a 5 inch square white marble base which bears the signature. Condition is very good.

Diane by Mellani
Large French plaster figure of Diane the Huntress with bow - an unsigned Mellani. She measures 18 inches high by 33.5 inches long and 7 inches deep ( 46cm x 85cm x 17.5cm). Condition is very good with just a couple of minor chips to the plaster edges.

Columbine Dancer by Etling
French Art Deco green tinted glass dancer figure wearing a columbine clown collar and long dress. To the base is zig zag detailing and it is signed Etling France. It measures 6 inches wide by 2.25 inches deep by 6.75 inches high (15cm x 5.5cm x 17cm). Condition is excellent.

Meditation by Joe Descomps
Large French art deco ceramic craquelier statue - a signed piece by Joe Descomps. The same bronze version of this statue can be seen in the Catley book on page 131. Her title is Meditation, cream nude with central doves detail to the front of the base. It measures 23 inches long by 15.5 inches high by 7.25 inches deep (59cm x 40cm x 18.5cm). Condition is very good, although there is a glaze crack to one end only on the outside edge.

Diane and Hounds Glass Statue
French Art Deco frosted glass statue depicting Diane the Huntress with dogs. Unsigned but probably Etling - and stamped France. Beautifully moulded with Diane and two dogs and stylised floral detail to the bottom. Mounted on an ebonised wooden base panel. It measures 19.5 inches long by 5.5 inches deep by total height 11.5 inches (50cm x 14cm 29cm). Condition is good but with two small slight bruises to the glass which are internal and cannot be felt on the outside.
