Flapper Box
Lovely sand cast aluminium box with smoking flapper on the lid, so presumably a cigarette box but makes a nice jewellery box. Made by RW Coan Aluminium who were based in London. They were contractors to HM government and also produced aviation equipment. The box measures 5.5 inches square and 3 inches high (14x8cm). Inscribed within 'with best wishes from RS Coan, Goswell Rd, London'. Condition is very good.

Compact & Comb Set
Lovely 2-tone blue and chrome boxed compact and comb set. The compact which has a mirror, mesh and puff has barely been used and measures 3 x 2.5 inches (7x6.5cm). the comb has a cream celluloid inner and measures 8 inches (20cm) when opened. Condition is very good but the comb does have one tooth missing and there are a couple of tiny pin head enamel chips to the set. Complete with its original velvet lined case.

Pelican Car Mascot
Chromed bronze flat pelican with a nut in its mouth. Measures 5.5 inches (14cm) tall and in excellent condition.

Rabier Cocktails Set
Lovely French bronze snails/cocktails forks with amazing bucket and leaves design. Excellent quality and although only signed with the Depose mark, I believe these were the work of the French cartoonist Benjamin Rabier. Measures approx. 4 x 2.25 inches and 3.5 inches high (10x6x9cm). Excellent original condition with just some wear to the silvering.

Lancement du Disque
Contemporary terracotta modernist plaque after the original by Jean et Jacques Adnet - Launching of Disc - which was originally created as a decorative sculpture for la Exposition des Arts Decoratifs, de 1925, Paris. This one is sold but available as a limited edition of gesso silver leafed or gold leafed reproductions which will be framed in wood.
