A pretty terracotta lady on an 18 inch base with stylised deco flowers all over. Signed by the artist 'Chauvin' with a Suisse Editions Paris Foundry stamp. She is 12 inches tall.

Lovely Child Terracotta by 'Cipriani'

Terracotta Group by Deblaize
A very deco stylised terracotta Lady with wedge hair and a goat boy (satire) with wavy hair detail on his legs and geometric square hooves. It is signed by the artist G.Deblaize and measures 20 inches wide and nearly 12 inches high. Condition is good with no damage or repairs, just a few minor chips or scuffs - a lovely piece.

Beautiful Marble and Alabaster Bust
A wonderful, almost lifesize bust made of marble and alabaster signed on the back - V. Mariani. She is a very pretty lady in a floppy deco style hat with subtle colouration to lips and cheeks and is mounted on an ovular marble base. Her condition is excellent and she is very heavy.

The Famous 'Bacchante' by Guiraude Riviere
This lovely French terracotta bust is almost lifesize, measuring a large 22 inches high. The lovely lady wears a garland of grapes around her head, as one would expect as she is a goddess of wine. This piece is signed to the rear in the clay. The condition is amazingly good considering the medium but there are a few minor chips - the biggest is on the left hand front bottom edge of the base which you can probably see in the picture. Guiraude Riviere - Born in Toulouse, France, member of the Salon where he exhibited during the 1930s. The bronze version of this bust can be viewed in the Catley book of Art Deco figures and others on page 169 and was originally exhibited at the Salon des Humoristes in 1923. Email me for more pics if required. As a bronze this piece would be worth thousands of pounds, as it is a terracotta I am asking a very reasonable and affordable £995.

Dreaming by Demetre Chiparus
This pretty nude is the terracotta version of Dreaming by Chiparus. She is a genuine 1930s piece and is signed in the clay. She measures 18.5 inches long by 15 inches high and 7 inches deep, and bears the Editions Reveyrolis, Paris stamp. Condition is very good with no damage or repairs.

Wax Glazed Dog Group by Odyv
Made by the French faience company of ODYV, it has a wonderful bobbly glaze which I believe was produced by using wax when glazing. Measures approx 26 inches long (66cm) and in very good condition with just a couple of minor edge nibbles. Email me for more pics of this special piece.

Circus Elephant by Fontinelle
This lovely craquelier elephant was made in Gent, Belgium by the faience company of Fontinelle, and measures 9.5 inches high (24cm) and has an unreadable impressed mark to the base, probably Fontinelle. It can be viewed in the Keramische Dieren book on page 39. Condition is very good.
